Kari is one of the directors of the Outdoor Swimming Society.
She lives in South Devon, and thus was instrumental in finding the Dart 10k, and the Swoosh, which are iconic swimming events on the OSS calendar. She was also one of the first swimmers to try the Hurly Burly, another OSS event in the Mawddach Estuary in North Wales, swimming 10k into the Snowdonia mountains, being carried by a current that gave her a better than olympic time for that distance!
She teaches adults to swim using the principles of the Alexander Technique.
